Bryson DeChambeau dons Brooks Koepka shirt during US Ryder Cup celebrations

Bryson DeChambeau was pictured wearing a shirt with Brooks Koepka's face on it during Team USA’s Ryder Cup celebrations.

The pair had every reason to celebrate as they contributed to their side’s emphatic 19-9 win over Team Europe.

They seemed to end their long-standing feud when they shared a hug after achieving the biggest margin of victory either side has achieved since the Ryder Cup became a Europe vs the United States contest.

At the after party on Sunday, DeChambeau, 28, sported a 'Step Brothers' themed T-shirt with his and Koepka's faces photoshopped onto actors Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly's bodies.

The man responsible for the prank shirts was teammate Justin Thomas, who made fun of the pair’s feud.

He was reportedly responsible for bringing the two closer together and was laughing while singing Smash Mouth's 'Why Can't We Be Friends' as the two embraced.

Thomas said: “I think before all this is over we should have a Brooks and Bryson hug in the middle of the room! To prove how much of a team we are they are going to hug right.”

The duo’s fallout has been well documented in recent years, in a feud that began at the beginning of 2019 after Koepka slated DeChambeau for his slow style of play on the golf course.

Koepka said: "I just don’t understand how it takes a minute and 20 seconds, a minute and 15 to hit a golf ball, it’s not that hard.

"It’s always between two clubs, there’s a miss short, there’s a miss long. It really drives me nuts."

DeChambeau responded by poking fun at Koepka's appearance, claiming he doesn't have any abs.

In response, Koepka shared a picture of his four Major trophies with the caption: "You were right @b_dechambeau, I am 2 short of a 6 pack."

Since then, the pair have gone toe-to-toe on a number of occasions, from social media spats to awkward major encounters, with many tipping the pair's frosty relationship to cause a number of problems for the US team at this year’s Ryder Cup.

However, that proved not to be the case as there seemed to be no issue within the American camp with DeChambeau and Koepka seen ‘getting along’ from the beginning of the event.

Following the hug after their win, the pair exchanged a chuckle and a handshake, before going in for another embrace to the delight of their fellow Team US players and captain Steve Stricker.
