Anthony Joshua warned not to "mess up" Oleksandr Usyk clash by Tommy Fury

Reality star, and professional boxer, Tommy Fury has warned Anthony Joshua not to 'mess up' his mandatory WBO championship bout with Oleksandr Usyk.

Joshua is set to face Usyk after his mega-bout with Tyson Fury collapsed after The Gypsy King was ordered to face Deontay Wilder – to complete their trilogy – by a US court.

Usyk moved to the heavyweight division after conquering the cruiserweight division, and the Ukrainian remains unblemished – unlike Joshua.

And the former Love Island contestant recognised how dangerous the Ukrainian is in an interview with talkSPORT, where he offered Joshua a warning for the upcoming fight.

“You can’t let that go by. Both men aren’t ancient," Fury told talkSPORT when asked about his half-brother, Tyson, and Joshua's bout.

It’s not like they’re 35 or 36, both are in the prime of their lives whether it’s going to be this year or next it doesn’t really matter.

“Both men just have to secure it from their sides. I know Tyson is going to secure it, so it’s really on AJ not to mess up like he did before.

“He’s got to take care of his business.”

When appearing on Love Island, in 2019, footage emerged of Fury celebrating upon hearing the news that Andy Ruiz Jr had handed Joshua his first professional loss.

However, the mouthwatering unification bout between Fury and Joshua – the winner will become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 2000 – is still on the cards.
