Canelo Alvarez is set to walk away with almost double the money of Gennady Golovkin after the pair complete their iconic trilogy in Last Vegas on Saturday night.
For the third, and surely final time, the two legends will go head to head nearly five years to the day from their first meeting. That ended in a controversial draw, prompting a rematch 12 months later.
That night, Alvarez took a majority decision and with it, all three of his bitter rival's world title belts. But now Kazakhstani hero 'GGG', 40, has one last chance at revenge.

Alvarez, 32, is coming off defeat in his light-heavyweight bout against Dmitry Bivol, but is clear favourite to retain his undisputed super-middleweight crowns in Vegas. But according to Boxing Scene, win or lose he'll be walking away with £39 million.
Golovkin, whose last bout was a win over Ryota Murata in April, will make a mere £21.6 million in comparison. And it will be the third time that Alvarez, who has a vastly superior net worth, will claim the bulk of the purse.
In the first fight, he is believed to have banked around £36 million, according to Forbes, with Golovkin earning near £18 million. The bout he then won earned him a massive £43 million while GGG took home the same amount as before, around £18m.

Both fights caught the imagination of the boxing public, yielding more then one million pay-per-views on HBO. DAZN have the box office rights this time around, and Eddie Hearn will be hoping for similar interest.
Mexican icon Alvarez has brought his secret weapon to Nevada though, his mum, Ana Maria Barragan. And he's promised she'll be loud and foul-mouthed in the T-Mobile Arena.
“She hates Golovkin so much,” said 'Saul'. “You are going to hear in the arena a lot of bad words from my mother. It is what it is, she’s my mum.”
