Conor McGregor is a man on a mission as he looks to recover as soon as possible following his horror ankle injury sustained in the trilogy fight defeat against Dustin Poirier.
The Irishman was told he wouldn't be able to return to action until 2022 unless he is given medical clearance from a doctor before January 7 of next year.
And it appears he is now on the comeback trail already, having posted a video of himself donning PSG's new home shirt while walking with the assistance of a treadmill – and he labelled the achievement as 'momentous'.
McGregor wrote on his Instagram: "Today is a momentous day!!! I walked for the first time since surgery. Bearing 50% of my big body weight!
"A long way to go yet but a massive personal boost for me today! Thank you all for the continued support everyone God bless, happy Saturday!"
In the footage of McGregor working out on the treadmill, a doctor could be heard saying: "Now he (McGregor) is walking on centre line."
McGregor then replied: "I'm waiting for myself, almost. That's not bad, going all through the steps on the grid. This is a good machine, this is to get going."
McGregor, famously known as 'The Notorious' also enjoyed some downtime as he stepped up his recovery in in Los Angeles.

McGregor has been relaxing by the swimming pool at the Beverly Hills hotel in LA. He posted pictures of him chilling on a sun-lounger while wearing the same PSG strip he donned on the treadmill.

in two separate social media posts, McGregor showed fans the watch from close-up with various images while he also posted a video of the roulette wheel in action.
Alongside the Instagram video of the watch, McGregor captioned his post: "I’m in the studio at the casino, we got red 14 hahaahahah we both f***** bro @champagnepapi#yeright hahahaha."

Drake was tagged in McGregor's post as he also owns an identical watch, which is valued at a staggering £450,000 and is called the Astronomica Casino, while sharing an image of him visiting the headquarters of the watchmakers – Jacob & Co – last year.
The watch allows the owners to pick their lucky numbers and the wheel can rotate both clockwise and anti-clockwise.
But while McGregor is making the most of his time off, he will be desperate to return to the octagon as quickly as possible.
And when he does make his latest comeback, he is again likely to face off against Poirier following his withdrawal in the first round in July.
