Jake Paul has hit back at fans who have claimed his knockout win over former UFC fighter Ben Askren was "rigged".
The YouTube star emerged victorious in his third professional boxing bout after dropping Askren with a combination in the first round and, despite the 36-year-old beating the count, the referee promptly waved off the fight.
Askren was pictured laughing with his wife as he returned backstage and his reaction lead to some, including former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, questioning whether 'Askren got us all'.
Taking to Twitter, Cormier wrote: "Wait a minute, did Askren get us all? Like this is some magician stuff he wasn’t laughing on his way to the back was he? Cmon Ben lol @BenAskren"
Paul has rejected at suggestions the fight was "rigged", tweeting: "Everyone saying the fight was rigged is tweeting off their moms WiFi"
Speaking after his victory, Paul said: "I've been in training camp every day, I deserved that s**t. This is the craziest moment of my life.
"I told you I was going to do it in the first round. I told you all I'm a real fighter.
