Ronda Rousey’s terms met over unlikely return as dream opponent Carano responds

Ronda Rousey's dream UFC opponent has responded to her 'challenge' after the former star said she'd only return to Dana White's promotion for Gina Carano.

Rousey, who is now at the WWE, told The Kurt Angle Show: “Well, there’s only one person. There’s only one person I would come back for. I mean, I’ve said it a million times.

"It’s not like it’s something new but, for Gina man. Gina Carano. She’s the reason why I got into fighting, she’s the reason why I knew it was a possibility." And Carano has now responded to Rousey, potentially setting up the mouth-watering clash.

Carano told Unfiltered with Dan Bongino: "You know what? Just never put it past me. It could happen.

"It would be six months from now because I have a lot of stuff I need to do… I really want to create, I want to direct, I want to produce… I want to give Ronda Rousey a job in one of my movies so maybe there is something we can do there."

Carano only spent three years as an active fighter been 2006 and 2009, she went 7-0 before Cris Cyborg finally down her, after which she hung up her gloves.

Rousey moved over to professional wrestling, where she has enjoyed a successful spell in the WWE – even capturing both the Raw and Smackdown's Women's Championship as well as headlining Wrestlemania.
