Tyson Fury sparring pics emerge as Gypsy King starts Anthony Joshua camp

Tyson Fury has been getting his preparations underway for taking on Anthony Joshua – by taking on an amateur Austrian powerhouse.

The Gypsy King is set to take on his British rival in a heavyweight unifying bout after both parties signed contracts for a two-fight series last month.

While the first bout is expected this summer, the lack of agreement on a venue is leading to doubt about the fight going ahead.

But Fury has been busy getting back into the ring ahead of taking on AJ.

Training in his hometown of Morecambe, the Gypsy King is preparing to travel out to Las Vegas and join up with trainer SugerHill Steward.

It has seen the 32-year-old link with pal Joseph Parker, who will be taking on Derek Chisora on May 1, for sparring.

But they have also been joined by Aleksandar Mraovic, the amateur boxer known as the “Austrian Bull”.

The fighter shared snaps of himself taking on Fury in the Morecambe gym, wearing headgear while the WBC champion keeps his focus.

Sharing a snap with the Gypsy King, the Austrian wrote: “Nobody can take this moment away from me, thank you Gypsy King.”

While he also shared snaps posing in the ring with both Fury and Parker, adding: “Surround yourself with people that reflect who you want to be and how you want to feel, energies are contagious.”

Mraovic has a record of 12 wins from 12 amateur bouts, taking on his first fight in 2014.
