This is the moment former UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones confronts an intruder with a shotgun at his home.
Jones posted footage from his home security camera on social media which appears to show a man enter the yard.
He then lurks suspiciously around Jones' fleet of cars before the 33-year-old fighter appears with his gun.
The intruder then takes flight with Jones hot on his heels, still brandishing the weapon.
"Ended up tapping on this guy's driver side window with the muzzle of my shotgun last night," Jones said.
"Next time you try to rob someone, make sure you’re fast enough to out run them.
"He’s lucky I’m smart enough to not shoot a man while he’s retreating.
"People I know times are getting hard but your life isn't worth a few material possessions."
Jones, who gave up his belt earlier this year, was backed up by fans with some claiming he would have been justified if he had shot the man.
The Albuquerque native is pondering a move to heavyweight having conquered the 205lb division.
He is intent on re-claiming his crown as the UFC's pound-for-pound No.1 after the promotion elevated Khabib Nurmagomedov into top spot.
Jones claimed the move was "bulls***" and said: "A enanimous decision over last minute replacement Al Iaquinta to become champion… Conor McGregor is the only opponent he’s ever had that the general public actually knew.
"Catapulted my man to becoming the best ever, this is hilarious.
"[I'm] not salty at all, I really do respect Khabib, I honor the type of man he is. But being the best is earned not given and unfortunately four title fights ain't it, no matter how much we all like em."
