Deontay Wilder delayed his fight with Tyson Fury after waiting in his dressing room during a bizarre pre-fight ritual.

The Gypsy King was left pacing around and playing air guitar as Wilder continued to wait in his dressing room.

Camera footage showed Wilder's team stood in a circle in silence, as someone appeared to preach to Wilder, who had his head bowed.

BT commentators described it as a "psychological" move.

However people on Twitter were more extreme, with one labelling it a "s***house" move.

One wrote: "Deontay Wilder still hasn’t emerged yet from the dressing room.

"And he is supposed to enter the ring first as the challenger."

Another said: "S***housing, got to love a bit of s***housing."

Wilder will be hoping that dressing-room delay works to his advantage in this colossal heavyweight rematch at the T-Mobile Arena.

But Fury's promoter Frank Warren isn't convinced he has the tools to derail his man in Sin City.

Warren said in his Daily Star Sport column: "What can Wilder do to change the outcome from their second fight?

"He isn’t going to come out and suddenly be a super boxer and outbox the Gypsy King.

"Wilder will just be hoping he can catch Fury with that right hand which is always a danger.

"But Fury can win this fight any way he wants.

"He can stand off the American and outbox him, or he can put it on him like last time and stop him.
