The NFL has suspended Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans one game stemming from his role in Sunday’s fight with members of the New Orleans Saints, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported on Monday, per sources. The league later announced the suspension.
No other players were suspended, Pelissero reported.
Evans, who is permitted to appeal the suspension, will be eligible to return to the Buccaneers’ active roster on Monday, Sept. 26, following the team’s Week 3 game against Green Bay.
