Patriots draft picks 2020: When does New England pick next? Full list of NFL Draft selections

The Patriots have set a high standard as a franchise over the years, and even with Tom Brady’s departure, that’s not likely going to change. But to remain competitive, New England is going to need to find some talent in this year’s draft. Luckily for the Patirots, they have 12 total picks in the 2020 draft, so they’ll have plenty of opportunities to find hidden gems.

Last season, the Patriots went 12-4 in the regular season but lost to the Titans 20-13 in the AFC Wild Card round. It was a pretty pitiful performance offensively as they struggled to get things going in the passing game. Part of the problem on offense was New England struggled to get much production from its 2019 draft class. First-round receiver N’Keal Harry was a nonfactor (12 catches for 108 yards in seven games), third-round running back Damien Harris basically took the season off after an early hamstring injury, and neither Yodny Cajuste (Round 3) and Hjalte Froholdt (Round 4) played a single snap on the offensive line. They’ll likely need to address those issues through this year’s draft by picking up playmakers at receiver and tight end.

And while last year’s success was largely dependent on defense, the departures of Kyle Van Noy, Jamie Collins and Elandon Roberts means they’ll have a lot of holes to fill at linebacker. They’ll also need to pick up a kicker to replace Stephen Gostkowski after released the veteran back in March.

Here’s a look at where the Patriots will be picking in the 2020 NFL Draft along with updated selections:
