It’s not a great sign for two storied NFL franchises that their game was flexed out of the Sunday night slot in Week 15.
Cowboys (4-9) vs. 49ers (5-8) was originally slated to kick off in prime time, but instead it’ll be a 1 p.m. ET start between two teams nearly eliminated from the playoff race. Both have been hit hard by injuries in 2020, with quarterback setbacks being a major part of the struggle. Dak Prescott’s been out for the season since a Week 5 injury, while Jimmy Garoppolo isn’t too likely to return before the season’s conclusion with an ankle injury.
Dallas is coming off a win in Week 14 when Andy Dalton won his revenge game against his former team, the Bengals. But that just hurt the Cowboys’ positioning in the 2021 NFL Draft, and both of these teams might be better off long-term with a loss in this game. None of the players will be thinking like that, but fan bases sure might be.
Here’s everything you need to know to watch the 49ers vs. Cowboys game on Sunday, including kickoff time, TV channels and a full Week 15 NFL schedule.
What channel is 49ers vs. Cowboys on today?
While two NFC teams would normally face off on Fox, the game wound up on CBS due to the aftermath involved in flexing Giants-Browns to Sunday night in place of this game.
