Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy and transfer chief Fabio Paratici are still looking to add to Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad on deadline day. Here, Express Sport looks at four deals the Premier League side could complete as the clock ticks down to the 11pm deadline on the final day of the transfer window.
Tottenham jumped ahead of North London rivals Arsenal in the race to sign Barcelona right-back Emerson Royal on the penultimate day of the transfer window.
Reports claimed Spurs had agreed a fee of €30m (£25.7) to sign the 22-year-old – after the Gunners had targeted him in a part-exchange deal that would see Hector Bellerin head to the Nou Camp.
Tottenham look favourites to seal the deal on Tuesday for a player who impressed during two seasons on loan at Real Betis and has featured in Barca’s first team this season.

A deal to take Adama Traore to Tottenham appeared all but done last week, with the winger thought to be keen to link up with his former boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
But negotiations have stalled, with Wolves seemingly determined to hold on to the explosive Spain international.
Spurs reportedly want Traore on an initial loan deal with an option to buy – but Wolves will demand £40m if he is to leave.
The 25-year-old gave Tottenham and Manchester United a torrid time this season – and with Harry Kane remaining in north London and Son Heung-min in fine form, the addition of the dymanic powerhouse could give Nuno’s side a huge boost in their quest for Champions League qualification.

Lyon playmaker Houssem Aouar is another player Tottenham could sign from under Arsenal’s noses.
The 23-year-old was targeted by the Gunners last summer, but has been linked with Spurs in recent weeks and could move on transfer deadline day.
With just under two years remaining on his contract with the Ligue 1 side, Aouar is said to be available for around £25m before tonight’s deadline.
If Spurs are successful in signing Emerson Royal, it could be the end of Serge Aurier’s time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The right-back is yet to play this season, and having entered the final 12 months of his contract he has been linked with interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino signed Aurier for Spurs in 2017 and could be set for a reunion with the 28-year-old.
