It is approaching a decade since Manchester United last claimed a Premier League title.
The Red Devils last tasted success in the 2012/13 season, clinching top spot by a comfortable 11 points.
But the club has not experienced such highs since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson, who announced his retirement in 2013.
David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have all tried to win England's biggest prize, but each individual has fallen short of the mark.
Plenty of players have come and gone during this period, with some going on to achieve bigger and better things away from Old Trafford.
Here, we have looked at the stars to have won a league title after moving on from the club.
1. Daley Blind
A popular figure during his Old Trafford days, Daley Blind left United in 2018 to re-join his boyhood club Ajax.
The 31-year-old lifted the Eredivisie title in his first season back at the club, edging PSV to the league by three points.
Blind missed out on back-to-back titles last campaign after the Dutch top flight was declared null and void, with Ajax top with nine matches remaining.
But he didn't have to wait long for another trophy, having recently won this season's competition.
2. Alexis Sanchez
It's safe to say that Alexis Sanchez's Manchester United career did not live up to the expectations of supporters.
The Chilean only spent two seasons at the club before spending last year on loan at Inter Milan, a move that was made permanent this summer.
Sanchez recently helped Inter to the club's first league title in 11 years, featuring 27 times for Antonio Conte's side in Serie A this term.
3. Romelu Lukaku

Lukaku has certainly impressed since swapping Manchester for Milan.
In 63 Serie A starts for Inter, Lukaku has netted 44 times and has become one of the most feared opponents in the division.
His goals have proved pivotal in helping Conte's men seal the Scudetto in impressive style.
4. Ashley Young
A move that not many saw coming.
Ashley Young signed for Inter in January 2020 and hasn't looked back since.
He reached the Europa League final during his debut season at the club and has gone one better this term by wrapping up the Serie A title.
5. Matteo Darmian
Darmian was never able to establish himself in the full-back position while at United and joined Parma in 2019 as a result.
After one season, Parma agreed to let the Italian defender spent this campaign at Inter.
Darmian has been utilised well in Conte's 3-5-2 system, gaining valuable experiences on his way to a first top flight honour of his career.
6. Angel Di Maria
Di Maria's United career lasted only one season before a deal was agreed with PSG in 2015.
Since moving to the French capital, the Argentine has won virtually every trophy possible with the exception of the UEFA Champions League.
The 33-year-old could receive a fifth Ligue 1 winners' medal in a few weeks, though PSG are locked in a battle with Lille for the top flight crown.
7. Ander Herrera
A fan-favourite of many United fans, there was a feeling of disappointment when Ander Herrera left the club.
The Spanish midfielder lifted four trophies in his maiden campaign with PSG, including Ligue 1.
Herrera could be set for a second league title, alongside ex-United teammate Di Maria.
