Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has discovered the perils of working from home after the Liverpool midfielder was rudely interrupted during a workout.
Premier League stars are having to use their own homes to stay in shape during the coronavirus lockdown with training grounds off limits in a bid to slow the spread of Covid-19.
It means many top-flight footballers are having to do their daily regimes in the confines of their own homes, which brings about it's own set of perils.
Many members of the public have no doubt suffered the awkwardness of having another member of the household disrupt their day when working from home, though admittedly the Reds man's problem were a touch more unique.
While isolating at the home he shares with pop star girlfriend Perrie Edwards of Little Mix, the England international opted to do a bit of stretching on Sunday evening.
However, the former Arsenal man had company for the workout as he was quickly joined by Edwards' dogs Hatchi and Travis, with the pair clambering all over the 26-year-old.
Edwards opted to share the footage on Instagram and it appeared Oxlade-Chamberlain was not enjoying the extra company as he was heard saying at one point: "Let me stretch, man."
Hatchi could later be seen getting involved with some stretches of its own, drawing praise from the England midfielder who commented: "Nice downward dog."
