Anthony Martial insists he doesn't feel threatened by the arrival at Manchester United of Edinson Cavani.
Cavani, 33, has joined United on a free transfer after leaving PSG in June and will provide strong competition for places in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 's attack.
The Uruguayan international produced an impressive cameo appearance in United's drab goalless draw with Chelsea last weekend.
France international Martial has still to score in nine appearances for both club and country this season.
The 24-year-old has struggled to find his best form and has been suspended for United's recent games following his red card in the 6-1 drubbing from Tottenham earlier this month.
But Martial believes the arrival of Cavani is a "positive" – despite the new forward threatening his place in the side.
Martial insists he is focussing on his own form as he prepares to return to United's side for the Champions League group clash with RB Leipzig tomorrow night.
