Arsenal have received an official offer from Besiktas for midfield outcast Mohamed Elneny, according to reports in Turkey.
Elneny, 29, has fallen out of favour at the Emirates this season, with the signing of Albert Sambi Lokonga pushing him further down Mikel Arteta's pecking order.
The Egypt international made his first Premier League appearance of the 2021/22 campaign off the bench in last weekend's 5-0 hammering away at Manchester City, having been left on the bench in their opening 2-0 defeats against Brentford and Chelsea.
But according to Turkish outlet NTV Sport, he has been offered a potential route out of north London despite the English transfer window closing on Tuesday.
It is believed Besiktas have submitted an official bid for Elneny with the Turkish transfer market still open up until September 8.
While details of the offer are currently unclear, they are said to have already 'started attempts' to prise him away from Arsenal before their deadline passes next Wednesday.

Elneny spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan with Besiktas after being deemed surplus to requirements by Arteta, before returning to the Emirates and racking up 41 appearances for Arsenal last season.
The offer to bring him back to Turkey is expected to be an initial loan deal which includes an option to buy him outright next summer.
Besiktas are understood to be confident of wrapping up a deal quickly and registering Elneny in time to play Champions League football for them this term.
Their opening fixture in the competition comes against Borussia Dortmund on September 15, but they only have until 11:59pm on Thursday night to register any new signings.
