Arsenal have reportedly no interest in selling Ainsley Maitland-Niles but there are plans in place to sell four players to help fund moves for Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar. The Gunners got plenty of their business done early in the summer with both Willian and Gabriel Magalhaes signing before the start of the season.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also committed his long-term future to the club with a new contract.
But Arsenal enter the final week of the transfer window still hoping to strike a number of deals.
Mikel Arteta is keen to trim down his squad with a handful of players set to leave the club.
Surprise reports emerged in Germany this week that Manchester United were close to agreeing a deal to sign Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

However, Goal report that both United and Arsenal have dismissed those reports as nothing but speculation.
The 23-year-old has been a key part of Arteta’s squad this season so far, starting four of Arsenal’s five games so far this season including the Community Shield win over Liverpool.
He’s proven to be a versatile asset for Arteta with his ability to play at the back as well as further forward.
While Maitland-Niles looks set to stay, the report states Arsenal are still looking to offload four players.

Sead Kolasinac, Lucas Torreira, Sokratis and Shkodran Mustafi have all been deemed surplus to requirements at the Emirates.
Bayer Leverkusen are said to be closing in on a deal to sign Kolasinac while Atletico Madrid are still in discussions for a deal to sign Torreira.
And Arsenal are said to be hoping the four potential exits could help fund moves for both Aouar and Partey.
The Gunners have already had a bid worth a reported £32million turned down from Lyon for Aouar.
The Ligue 1 side are reportedly hoping for closer to £45m with Arsenal expected to make another approach.
A deal for Partey seems slightly more complicated though, despite Atletico’s interest in Torreira.
Arsenal are hoping any deal for the Uruguay international to move to Spain would include Partey, but Atletico are demanding any interested club trigger his £46m release clause.
