Ashley Cole has revealed that he once told Zlatan Ibrahimovic to "put your f***ing hands down" in a dressing room confrontation.
Cole and Ibrahimovic followed in the footsteps of many other former greats in journeying out to America, where they played together for LA Galaxy in 2018.
The former left-back was asked what it was like to play with the Swedish striker during his time in the MLS.
And Cole claimed that the AC Milan man is not always the same personality he is behind the scenes as he likes to show to the media, though he is not always afraid to speak his mind.
He told host Romesh Ranganathan on A League Of Their Own: "He has two personalities, with us in the dressing room he was brilliant, quiet, very humble but for the media he was God.
"He had moments where he would come in the dressing room and really let people know about their s*** touch, can't run, you're slow but in front of the media his persona changed."
Cole also recounted one story about when he and Ibrahimovic clashed in the changing rooms.

"He tried to once, he did throw his hands in the air," added the former England international.
"And I said 'Put your f***ing hands down'. I'm deadly serious, honestly. I was thinking 'you might have a little point, but don't put your hands up'."
Now 39, Ibrahimovic is still going strong in the Serie A with AC Milan, and scored 17 goals last season.
The former Barcelona and Manchester United man was yet to begin training for the 2021/22 campaign before the international break.
But Milan boss Stefano Pioli insists he will be ready again soon as he nears his 40th birthday.
"He is better physically. He hasn't yet rejoined the squad yet but next week will be very important as there will be a lot of ball work," Pioli said last month.
"If everything goes as well as I hope he could return to training with us during the international break."
