Chelsea agreed a deal for 16-year-old midfielder Kendry Paez in June for a fee of just over £17million. The Ecuadorian will remain with Independiente del Valle until he turns 18 in May 2025.
Chelsea unveiled the signing of Brazilian forward Washington last month. Washington, 18, was an unused substitute in Saturday’s 1-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest.
Angelo is another Brazilian starlet who joined Chelsea from Santos in July. The winger, also 18, featured in a couple of pre-season friendlies for the Blues but has now joined Strasbourg on loan, where he has made three substitute appearances.

Chelsea signed Portuguese youngster Moreira in July and gave him his debut against AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup. He was taken off at half-time and swiftly joined Lyon on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
Chelsea signed Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos in January but he did not get a work permit until June. The 19-year-old impressed in pre-season and will hope to get Premier League experience while on loan at Nottingham Forest this term.
Young American goalkeeper Slonina joined Chelsea in August 2022 before being loaned straight back to Chicago Fire. He is now getting his first taste of European football while on loan at Eupen in Belgium.
David Datro Fofana
Ivory Coast striker Fofana joined Chelsea in January from Norwegian side Molde. He featured four times for the Blues last season and will spend this campaign at Union Berlin, though is yet to score in his four appearances to date for the German side.
