Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly could opt to help Manchester United in their pursuit of Tottenham star Harry Kane this summer by offloading one of the Blues’ big-money signings. The England captain has less than 18 months left on his contract in north London and has been linked with a move away in search of more trophies to match his stunning individual displays.
Erik ten Hag’s outfit are one of several teams chasing Kane’s signature, though Spurs would likely prefer to sell outside of the Premier League if they are to let him leave this summer. There has been no indication from the 29-year-old over where his future lies, but until he commits his future to Spurs rumours will continue to swirl ahead of the transfer market.
Spurs have options if they are resigned to losing Kane but do not want to improve a rival. Bayern Munich have held a long-standing interest in the striker and have not been shy over making their stance public. While recently, Paris Saint-Germain have entered the race for Kane according to Les Parisien.
The report states that as Lionel Messi edges closer to an exit from the French capital, PSG have drawn up a shortlist consisting of Kane, Victor Osimhen, Marcus Thuram, Randal Kolo Muani and Romelu Lukaku as potential options to bolster their firepower ahead of next season.

Lukaku has spent the season out on loan from Chelsea back at Inter Milan, after failing to live up to expectations following his £97.5million move to Stamford Bridge. He has also struggled to reach the heights of his first stint in Italy, however, scoring just three Serie A goals in 18 appearances.
Despite Chelsea’s difficulties in front of goal, they would likely be keen to offload the Belgian as they look to avoid punishment from the Premier League over their financial issues since Boehly and co took over last year. A potential fire sale could take place following their £600m-plus spending spree under the new ownership group, with Lukaku in line to leave.

However, allowing Lukaku to move to PSG as they are likely to offer the most substantial financial package to Chelsea, would ensure that another suitor for Kane drops out of the race – which could allow United a better chance at getting Ten Hag’s man.
The decision would in turn hinder the Blues’ hopes of competing at the top end of the table once again, unless they are able to land Kane.
He would certainly solve a large portion of their woes in front of goal, but whether they would be able to make the necessary financial efforts to land him remains to be seen – even putting the rivalry aside between Chelsea and Spurs.
