Cristiano Ronaldo left Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson stunned as Manchester United came from behind to snatch a point against Atalanta in the Champions League.
The 36-year-old volleyed a sensational 91st-minute equaliser into the bottom left corner to ease the pressure on underfire boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
And as the events in Bergamo unfolded, Arsenal legend Merson watched in awe as the five-time Ballon d'Or winner netted his 139th Champions League goal.
Reporting live on Sky Sports soccer special, the player-turned-pundit marvelled at the technique Ronaldo displayed to pull off the worldie strike.
"I don't know how he ain't pulled his thigh," said a flabbergasted Merson.
"Cause he hasn't touched the ball… It's got to be one of the best finishes ever of all time.
"It comes to him and he volleys it, it's just out of nothing, I mean absolutely out of nothing.
"And he just gets across it, in the far corner, what a goal. What a goal.
"And what a point for Man United, that will probably qualify them now for the Champions League [knockout stages]."
