Ryan Fraser has been offered a deal worth in the region of £50,000-per-week before bonuses by Crystal Palace.
Winger Fraser is a free agent after leaving Bournemouth when his contract expired on June 30.
Fraser’s Bournemouth deal, signed back in February 2017 when he was just starting to make an impression at the top level, was initially worth £27,000-a-week.

The Cherries were willing to reward Fraser with a more lucrative long-term deal as he became a more established Premier League performer but his preference was to see out his contract down and leave on a free this summer.
Palace are keen to reduce their wage bill and bring down average age of their squad, which peaked at 31 during the season, and at 26 Fraser would help towards that.
The Eagles have already snapped up right-back Nathan Ferguson, 19, on a free from West Brom.

They are chasing QPR’s starlet Eberechi Eze, 22 and have had a £12m plus add-ons approach knocked back with Rangers holding out for £18m.
Palace are competing with West Ham and West Brom for the attacking midfielder.
The south Londoners also have plans to further integrate academy product and left-back Tyrick Mitchell next season.
Mitchell, 20, broke into Roy Hodgson’s first team since the restart, making four Premier League appearances and starting their last two games.
