Chelsea have been linked with a late move for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice on transfer deadline day but the Hammers insist they will not sell. Assistant manager Alan Irvine has made it clear the club are planning for a future with the midfielder.
Frank Lampard is a big fan of Rice and wants to add him to his squad.
The 21-year-old has impressed for West Ham this season so far and was key in the 3-0 win at Leicester yesterday.
90min claim Lampard has demanded Rice signs for the club before the 11pm deadline tonight.
But Irvine is adamant the England international is going nowhere and they haven’t been looking at any targets to replace him.

“We haven’t been looking to replace him,” said assistant manager Irvine.
“We have been looking for players but we’ve not been looking for a replacement for Declan because we don’t have any intention of selling him.
“Every player in the world has his price, it would certainly be an extremely difficult situation for us if anything was to happen.
“But without having all the information I still don’t think that will happen.”

West Ham have slapped an £80m price tag on Rice, a massive amount for the midfielder.
Chelsea have not been afraid to spend this summer though and have paid out over £300m for the likes of Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell and Kai Havertz.
The Blues may need to offload players to have any chance of signing Rice.
Antonio Rudiger is in talks with AC Milan, Ruben Loftus-Cheek could leave on loan and Arsenal want Jorginho.
The only one which would bring in a substantial amount of money is the latter of them three.

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Lampard has praised Thiago Silva and Kurt Zouma for their performances against Crystal Palace.
“I’m really pleased with the clean sheet for everyone involved, not just the goalkeeper and the back four,” acknowledged Lampard.
“We didn’t give a team who are very dangerous away from home many chances to score, which is great for the focus of the team.
“Thiago and Kurt looked very good, very composed. Thiago has that great experience and we saw that. He is obviously still in his early days in terms of fitness, but let’s see how that partnership works.
“I want to find some sort of stability with the back four, of course I do. Those two showed how well they can do it, but that needs to be sustained.”
