England Under-19s saw their friendly with Scotland abandoned this afternoon, reportedly due to a positive Covid-19 test.
The match, at St George’s Park, kicked off at 2pm but was called off at half-time with England 3-1 up on the field.
And journalist Mike McGrath has said that players were told that a member of the backroom team on one of the sides tested positive, leading to the game being called off.
It has been claimed that players were awaiting to return to the pitch for the second half when informed of the decision.
