After a year of waiting – Euro 2020 – aptly held in 2021 – kicked off on Friday evening as Italy brushed aside a young Turkish side with ease, netting three goals in the second half.
Juventus' Merih Demiral put the ball into his own net at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, before Italy picked Turkey apart through Lazio's Ciro Immobile and Napoli's Lorenzo Insigne.
It was a dominant performance that came as a surprise for many fans who backed Turkey as a dark horse.
However, it wasn't surprising to one fan, who had appeared to gaze into his crystal ball when predicting the result.
"Turkey 0-3 Italy, Immobile, Insigne, Demiral OG," the fan tweeted, nonchalantly, when replying to a tweet asking fans about their predictions for the opening clash before the contest.
And Twitter gleefully responded: "Not that impressive, you didn’t say which minute the goals would come," one fan joked.
"Lottery numbers, NOW!" another demanded.
The individual was bombarded with a barrage of questions about winners of next seasons leagues, from Turkey to England.

Turkey – who only conceded two goals throughout the qualifying campaign – will be hoping to bounce back when they face Wales on Thursday.
Italy, on the other hand, face Switzerland, also on Wednesday, and the Azzurri are once again on home soil.
