Everton vs Newcastle LIVE: Team news, line-ups and more ahead of Premier League fixture today

Carlo Ancelotti yet to decide on starting Jordan Pickford after another ‘mistake’

The England No. 1 has been beset by errors this season

Everton are in decent form having lost just once in their last six games across all competitions. Last time out in the Premier League they took the lead against Leicester courtesy of James Rodriguez but had to settle for a draw after Youri Tielemans struck back in the second half.

Conversely you have to go back to December 12th to find Newcastle United’s last victory. They’ve had a run of 11 games without a win which has plummeted them down to 16th in the table. Pressure is mounting on manager Steve Bruce with his side in need of a good performance today.

Allan, Fabian Delph, Niels Nkounkou and Jean-Philippe Gbamin all remain out for Everton but Abdooulaye Doucoure returns to the squad after missing Wednesday’s match versus Leicester through suspension.

Ciaran Clark, Paul Dummett and Fabian Schar are all doubts for Newcastle with Schar being monitored closely to see if he can start.

Federico Fernandez is out due to a muscle injury but Allan Saint-Maximin should feature in some capacity. DeAndre Yedlin is also available again after resolving an issue with his work permit.
