Harry Redknapp has sealed a “lovely jubbly” property transfer that is netting him a top-of-the-league £3m profit.
The ex-Spurs boss has agreed to sell his £7m mega-mansion on Millionaire’s Row in Sandbanks.
And he has pounced on a £3.8m new home which is still being completed nearby. The plot of land on which the five-bedroom house is being built is owned by Sheffield Wednesday boss Garry Monk.
Harry and his wife Sandra managed to beat Bournemouth and England striker Callum Wilson with their £3.8m offer.
A source said: “Harry has done incredibly well.
“He’s earning a fortune from the sale and bagging the house of his dreams. He’s used to making deals on the transfer market, so it’s no surprise he’s done well in real estate several times. Although he loves Sandbanks, the new place is the last one he’ll buy to live in.
“It’s where he and Sandra can retire and spend quality time with the grandkids.”
Despite his current home offering epic sea views in Poole, Dorset, the new house will still be amazing. It has a huge reception area with a sweeping staircase, double garage and an orangery.
Harry, 73, has become a telly favourite since quitting the game, winning I’m A Celebrity in 2018 and starring in two series of TV’s Harry’s Heroes.
And Redknapp will see more of the UK this summer, recently saying: "I doubt we'll go away, we won't go abroad – there's too many problems at the moment.
"Going away and having to come back and into isolation, you know, it's very difficult.
"So we may be looking at getting to Cornwall. We've not been to Cornwall and it's somewhere we've always really wanted to go and so this is our opportunity this year to have a few days down in Cornwall."
