Leeds United star Raphinha is reportedly top of Liverpool’s transfer shortlist this summer.
Raphinha has impressed for Marcelo Bielsa’s Whites this season having been signed from Rennes during the summer.
He has bagged four goals as well as four assists this season was was named man of the match in Monday’s 2-0 win.
And France Football report that the 24-year-old has been placed top of Liverpool’s transfer shortlist for the summer.
It’s claimed that Jurgen Klopp’s scouts have been impressed with Raphinha following his move to England.
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has likened Raphinha to current Anfield stars Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
“I was really impressed with him when I watched him at Leicester last weekend as well, not just by Raphinha, but Bamford as well,” Carragher told Sky Sports' Monday Night Football.
“You see that shot there [before Bamford's goal], that's so typical of a wide man, that penetrating run that we talk about with Salah, Mane and [Raheem] Sterling, all the great wide players.
“They make that run and he does. He has great quality on the ball.
“I think we mentioned before the game that he's been involved in seven goals in the last eight games, so he's always a huge threat and that's always telling when your team-mates know from one training session.”
Klopp could have space in his squad to work with this summer with reports suggesting that up to six Liverpool stars could leave.
The Reds currently sit ten points behind leaders Manchester City in the Premier League table, having won their maiden title last season.
