Juventus ‘plotting £360m Mbappe raid’ – and could send Ronaldo to PSG

Juventus are plotting a “world-record £360m move” for PSG forward Kylian Mbappe – and they could send Cristiano Ronaldo the other way.

The pair shared the pitch in Portugal’s Nations League clash with France last weekend, recognised as two of the best players in the world.

Ronaldo served as an inspiration for the 21-year-old, who jumped on the scene at Monaco in the 2016/17 season.

After becoming the first teenager to score in a World Cup final since Pele at the 2018 tournament, he has gone on to score 92 goals in 127 games for PSG.

This success has seen him linked with teams such as Premier League champions Liverpool and big spenders Real Madrid.

But Italian outlet Tuttosport have reported that Juventus could try and sneak ahead while throwing in a sensational extra.

The Old Lady are willing to spend £360m on Mbappe, which is £160m more than the French side spent bringing Neymar to the club from Barcelona.

Their wage bill, though, would not be able to accommodate Ronaldo and the Frenchman, who is currently on £360,000-a-week.

And a deal could see the Serie A side throw in the five-time Ballon D’Or winner as part of any deal for the 21-year-old.

Ronaldo has been previously linked with a move to PSG as agent Jorge Mendes “held talks” with last season’s Champions League runners-up over the summer.

The Portuguese superstar arrived at the Allianz Stadium from Real Madrid in 2018, continuing his incredible scoring form with 68 goals in 91 appearances.

If the Old Lady were to make a move, they would have to contend with the Frenchman’s desire to move to Madrid after his latest comments.

But Juventus could save a lot of money on Mbappe if they were to wait a year to make a move, when the Frenchman would have just 12 months left on his contract.
