Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is set to ring the changes again when his Reds side take on RB Leipzig tonight. Liverpool lead 2-0 from the first leg of the Champions League last-16 tie. It is a chance to put their woeful Premier League form aside for one night at least, and Express Sport has predicted the Reds XI we expect to line up in Budapest.

Goalkeeper – Alisson

Alisson’s only clean sheet in his last 10 appearances came in the first leg.

Liverpool will need the Brazilian on form tonight as Leipzig look to overturn the two-goal deficit.

Alisson has not been helped by the constant changing of defence in front of him.

But there are set to be yet more changes in the backline.

Defence – Alexander-Arnold, Kabak, Fabinho, Robertson

Klopp knows this is the only competition where his team can restore some pride and he will pick his strongest side possible.

Fabinho was rested against Fulham on Sunday and Ozan Kabak is set to return following a minor injury.

Trent Alexander-Arnold was also only used as a second-half substitute in the defeat to Fulham, so will start this one.

Andy Robertson seems to play every game and that will not change in Hungary this evening.

Midfield – Thiago, Wijnaldum, Jones

Thiago will likely come back into the side after sitting out of the Fulham loss.

The Spaniard shone against German opposition for years, so this is the perfect game for him.

Georginio Wijnaldum has looked exhausted of late but options are few and far between for Klopp, with James Milner absent from training on Tuesday.

Curtis Jones is likely to play after playing the entirety of the first leg three weeks ago.

Attack – Salah, Jota, Mane

Roberto Firmino was also not in training yesterday after missing the loss to Fulham due to injury.

Diogo Jota looked sharp at times on his comeback from injury and did well to get through 90 minutes.

He, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane will rotate across the front three in the absence of Firmino.

Salah and Mane’s last goal in any competition came in the first leg.

Liverpool expected XI vs RB Leipzig in full: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Kabak, Fabinho, Robertson; Thiago, Wijnaldum, Jones; Salah, Mane, Jota.
