Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to make a number of changes to his Manchester United side when they go away to Everton in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday night.
United head into their clash with the Toffees in a rich vein of form, having avoided defeat in their last seven Premier League outings and claimed victory in six of them.
They will be looking to secure a place in the League Cup semi-finals for the second straight year at Goodison Park, yet Solskjaer has confirmed two key men will be missing on Merseyside.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka and two-goal hero Scott McTominay are both unavailable after picking up knocks in Sunday’s 6-2 thrashing of Leeds at Old Trafford, which could also rule them out of their Boxing Day showdown with top-four rivals Leicester.
Luke Shaw is also a doubt to feature at Everton after coming off on the hour mark against Leeds.
In goal, Dean Henderson will expect to get the nod over David de Gea as he has done in United’s two previous Carabao Cup wins over Luton and Brighton.
With Wan-Bissaka out of action, Timothy Fosu-Mensah could be given a rare starting opportunity at right-back, while Alex Telles is likely to come in at left-back.
Red Devils captain Harry Maguire should remain in the side, but Axel Tuanzebe could replace Victor Lindelof alongside him at centre-back.
Solskjaer is bound to stick with a 4-2-3-1 setup and partner Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba in the middle of the park.
Mason Greenwood, Donny van de Beek and Juan Mata are in need of game time and could be deployed as an attacking-midfield trio.
And with Premier League minutes hard to come by, Edinson Cavani should find himself leading the United line at Everton.
