Man Utd fans fume at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team for Chelsea clash as two calls spark anger

Manchester United supporters have taken to social media to criticise two of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s decisions as they fear his starting line-up may not be sufficient to beat Chelsea at Old Trafford.

Solskjaer named the same XI which beat Newcastle 4-1 in the Premier League last weekend.

But many fans feel there should have been changes to incorporate the players who impressed in the win over Paris Saint-Germain in midweek.

Young centre-back Axel Tuanzebe was arguably one of the best players on the pitch in the French capital but he has been dropped for captain Harry Maguire.

Fans are also not happy than Dan James has got a place in the team ahead of summer signing Donny van de Beek.

“Why Dan james? VDB should start instead ffs,” one person wrote on Twitter.

Another added: “Daniel James starting ahead of the likes of Van De Beek and Paul Pogba, Mata playing when we’re trying to counter attack and Axel getting dropped for Harry Maguire.”

A third user said: “COME ON MAN….Tuanzebe on the bench, van de Beek on the bench, Pogba on the bench…..WHAT IS THIS NONSENSE???”

And a further person commented: “Ole out wtf is this s**t.”

United fans are also concerned about the absence of left-back Alex Telles, who also featured against PSG.

One supporter wrote: “Where is Alex Telles, is he injured?”

And another said: “Erm not sure if it’s a mistake or not but @ManUtd you seem to be missing Alex Telles from the line-up.”

While a further user commented: “What happened to Alex Telles?.”
