Manchester United may not be playing as the Premier League kicks off this weekend, but the club’s transfer officials will undoubtedly be scouring over the matches for potential recruits. There are still over three weeks left over the summer transfer window and United are expected to be busy striking a few more deals to bolster Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad.
Donny van de Beek is currently the club’s only signing this summer having spent most of their time targeting a move for Jadon Sancho.
Borussia Dortmund remain adamant that Sancho will not be sold after United missed the August 10 deadline they set for a £108million bid to come in.
United reportedly haven’t given up hope of signing the England international, but they’ll need to soon start moving on to other targets.
Solskjaer has already spoken about his hope that Ed Woodward will help add more faces to his squad as United aim to fight higher up the table next season.

He also predominantly plays on the right side of defence, slotting in perfectly alongside Maguire.
United may well be able to sign Sergio Reguilon on a cut-price deal from Real Madrid, but if it’s reliability in defence they’re looking for then it’s hard to look past someone like Lucas Digne.
The France international has established himself as one of the Premier League’s best full backs in recent years.
It would likely take a huge bid for Everton to consider selling the 27-year-old, but if United are desperate to bring in a ready-made option at left-back to play week in and week out then there’s not many better options.

Young Daniel James has shown promise but United fans have been used to having flair players such as Nani, Javier Hernandez and Shinji Kagawa to name but a few who are able to get fans out their seats.
