Man Utd launch final Jadon Sancho transfer bid and have new plan – but there’s a problem

Manchester United are set to launch a final bid to sign Jadon Sancho this week, and will offer up to £90million for the winger. The Daily Mail claims United will start with a bid of £60m, and insert add-ons to get to the final price.

United are still determined to sign Sancho before the transfer window closes on October 5th

Having failed with a number of bids so far, they are set to launch one final offensive to sign the winger this week.

Borussia Dortmund are still holding firm on their £108m asking price, and are reluctant to accept that fee in installments.

The Bundesliga giants fear United don’t have the money available this summer to finance the move this summer, and have repeatedly insisted the forward will remain with them this season.

United have reportedly agreed terms with Sancho over a five-year contract worth £340,000-per-week.

However, they still haven’t agreed a fee or payment structure with Dortmund, and now hope they can entice them into a discount.

The Mail reports United still aren’t going to meet Sancho’s asking price, but hope Dortmund will lower their demands this week.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to have contacted Sancho personally to reassure the youngster that a deal will be finalised before next Monday’s deadline.

It is believed that United’s policy throughout the summer has been to leave it late before making their final push to sign Sancho.

They are the only team interested in signing him this summer, but will likely face more competition if they wait until next year.

Solskjaer is allegedly upset at the time taken to wrap up the deal, and has repeatedly asked United chiefs why there has been no progress on the signing.

Now, it is crunch time for the Red Devils and they know they have to get the deal wrapped up by next Monday.

If United’s next bid gets rejected, the Daily Mail claims they will still look to sign a winger and will move on to one of their other targets.

United are also in for Porto left-back Alex Telles, but talks on that deal have progressed quicker.

They have agreed personal terms with the defender, and will now work on getting Porto to lower their asking price of £18m.

Club chiefs still have two other defenders on their shortlist, and are keen on pursuing them if they cannot get an agreement with Porto.
