Jadon Sancho personal terms

Manchester United do NOT have any agreement with Jadon Sancho.

That’s according to German newspaper Ruhr Nachrichten, who say ‘nothing’ has been discussed or negotiated between the two parties.

The Sun sensationally claimed the Borussia Dortmund winger had agreed personal terms with the 13-time Premier League champions ahead of a summer transfer that could reach upwards of £100million.

But Ruhr Nachrichten described the story as “hot air” and Sky Germany have also dismissed the claims.

Dayot Upamecano latest

Bayern Munich are favourites to sign RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano, L’Équipe report.

Premier League trio Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City are known to be interested in the sought-after centre-back.

But Bundesliga champions are best placed to secure his signature with negotiations already taking place behind the scenes.

Upamecano, 21, has a £55million release clause but with just over 12 months remaining on his contract – Leipzig could be willing to do business for around £25m.

Wanted: Faitout Maouassa

Manchester United and Newcastle have registered their interest in Rennes talent Faitout Maouassa.

That’s according to French newspaper L’Équipe, who claim the Premier League duo have been monitoring Maouassa’s progress for several months.

Newcastle made a £7million bid for the 21-year-old in January but Rennes rejected the proposal.

Despite the snub, Steve Bruce’s side have remained in contact with the left-back’s representatives and could make a second approach in the upcoming transfer window.

The Red Devils are also interested in Maouassa, whose playing style has been compared with Barcelona star Jordi Alba.
