Man Utd pair ‘feeling exiled and seeking assurances’ amid worrying form

Manchester United duo Donny van de Beek and Eric Bailly are reportedly fed up of feeling "exiled" under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Van de Beek, 24, has endured a miserable spell at Old Trafford since his £35m move from Ajax in 2020.

He has started just four Premier League games since then, and continues to be overlooked.

Bailly, 27, has also been consigned to the bench and was reportedly left angered by Solskjaer's decision to bench him in favour of Harry Maguire, who was dreadful after being rushed back from injury.

And according to The Sun, the out-of-favour duo are now seeking assurances after feeling cast out.

Van De Beek was left visibly furious when Solskjaer chose not to bring him on during a game against Villarreal.

The Dutchman, who has lost his place in the national side, was seen throwing his chewing gum on the floor after yet another night of frustration.

Things have gone from bad to worse at Old Trafford, and sunk to a new low after a humiliating 5-0 home defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.

It ranked among the worst Premier League performances of all time, with red-hot Mo Salah scoring a hat-trick for Liverpool.
