Man Utd: Lingard joins West Ham on loan
Manchester United have added highly-rated winger Amad Diallo to their ranks during the January transfer window. A deal was struck with Atalanta back in October to sign the 18-year-old for £37million and United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said “it won’t be too long” until fans see him in action.
The Norwegian is not expected any further arrivals before the deadline, saying: “I wouldn’t think so, no. I’d be surprised if we do any incomings.
“The squad is strong, it’s full of quality. I still need to leave players out for the squad at times.
“Bar something surprising happening, I wouldn’t think something will happen (in terms of) incomings, no.”
United’s focus will now likely turn to the summer window. Here, Express Sport rounds up the latest transfer news.
Jadon Sancho message
United target Jadon Sancho has sent a message to Jesse Lingard, who has joined West Ham on loan for the rest of the season.
Lingard has struggled to hold down a place under Solskjaer this season but a spell at the Hammers could revive his hopes of making England’s squad for the Euros.
Sancho was one of several players to wish him well, writing “good luck bro” on Instagram.
United failed in their attempts to sign the Borussia Dortmund winger last summer.

But the Red Devils are expected to go back in for him again at the end of the season.
Erling Haaland asking price
Borussia Dortmund’s Haaland could be available for just £66m this summer, according to reports.

His Dortmund contract has a £66m release clause which becomes active in the summer of 2022.
But Ok Diario claims the German club may allow the striker to leave for the same price at the end of the season.
Dortmund reportedly need funds due to a financial crisis at the club.
Facundo Pellistri loan move
United are looking to send Pellistri out on loan to get some first-team experience.
The 19-year-old joined from Penarol for £9m in October but is yet to make his debut.
Solskjaer said this week: “There has been talks and there’s been quite a few clubs interested in Facundo to go out on loan and that’s maybe something we will let him do now.
“He’s had a few games in the reserves. We want him to have regular football, of course, at a high level of course.”
According to journalist Jonathan Shrager, Pellistri is set to join La Liga side Deportivo Alaves for the rest of the season.
