Burnley's new signing, Maxwel Cornet, has suffered an embarrassing gaffe after signing for the Lancashire side.
Cornet became the Clarets' record signing when he put to paper on a £13.5million deal from French side Olympique Lyon.
The Ivorian has signed a five-year deal at Turf Moor.
However, upon his unveiling, Cornet pointed to the Umbro badge on his new shirt rather than the Burnley crest – which was on the other side of his shirt.
The picture shows Corner pulling the shirt forwards and mistaking the Umbro crest for the Burnley one by pointing with one finger at the badge.
The gaffe was joked about online, but Burnley are positive about his arrival.Alan Pace, the Chairman of Burnley, said: “On behalf of everyone at Burnley Football Club, I’d like to wish Maxwel a warm welcome to the Clarets' family.
"We’re delighted to have secured such a talented player with Champions League pedigree and we look forward to him joining up with Sean [Dyche] and the team.
“The wide position was identified as in need of strengthening and we saw Maxwel as the ideal player to fulfil this with talent, versatility, and pace.
"It’s been great to have the fans back at Turf Moor and I expect a brilliant reception for Maxwel when he is available for selection following the international break.”
