Donny van de Beek’s frustration at his lack of game time at Manchester United has reached a boiling point with new footage two days after the incident showing his full reaction.
A clip of van de Beek went viral during the Champions League clash against Villarreal on Wednesday when, with the game tied at 1-1, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer chose to bring on Fred and Jesse Lingard over the Dutchman.
The 24-year-old was spotted by fans throwing his chewing gum to the floor and shaking his head in disapproval at his manager’s decision.
And a new clip has now emerged showing the former Ajax man furiously throwing his bib on the ground after failing to come off the bench and having to be consoled by teammates.
But while van de Beek was left fuming, Solskjaer’s decision to bring on Fred and Lingard was rewarded with both being involved in the build-up to Cristiano Ronaldo’s last minute winner.
Van de Beek signed for the club for £35million last summer but has only made 20 league appearances since then.
He averaged double figures in goals across his final three seasons in the Netherlands but only has one goal to his name since penning a five-year-deal with the Red Devils.
His frustration comes especially after being promised more minutes by Solskjaer following a 4-1 win against Newcastle United three-weeks-ago, where he featured as a substitute.

Solskjaer had said: “Donny had his first taste with a crowd – what Man United feels like.
“He keeps working hard, he’s such a professional and top lad and he’ll get his minutes.”
It is now being reported by The Mail that he will look to find another club in the January transfer window, having been left out of the latest Netherlands national squad selection due to his lack of minutes.
