Porn star Mia Khalifa once told Arsenal Fan TV she "loves teams that suck"

Retired porn star Mia Khalifa once appeared on Arsenal Fan TV – to say she "loves teams that suck".

The West Ham fan had a three-month stint in the industry but has become one of the most viewed performers ever, and still holds notoriety to this day.

After quitting the profession, she transitioned into a social media personality and began to focus on sports instead of sex.

As well as setting up her own YouTube and Twitch channels, she made an unexpected appearance on AFTV.

During the interview with Robbie Lyle, aka Don Robbie, Mia spoke of her love of American sports teams and explained why she supports West Ham.

"My team for hockey is the Capitals, for American football is the Redskins, for basketball is the Wizards and the Nationals for baseball," she listed.

Robbie noted: "All DC based, all Washington teams. I just still don’t get the West Ham thing, though.”

Mia replied: “Well if my other teams tell you anything, it’s that I love teams that suck.”

At the time, the Hammers were a mid-table Premier League side, but did beat Arsenal 1-0 in the game the video was previewing.

Of course, since then the east London club have done anything but "suck", breaking into the top six in 2021.

When pressed by Robbie about why she is a West Ham fan, Mia responded: "The same reason every American knows anything about West Ham or Premier League soccer – from Green Street Hooligans."

The 2005 film, known just as Green Street in the UK, was based on a fictional Hammers firm and clearly raised their profile in the States.

Mia has been pictured wearing their claret and blue kit on a number of occasions.

She admitted that she doesn't get to watch many games due to the time difference in America, and named Felipe Anderson, who has since joined Lazio, as her favourite player.

Commenting on her love of West Ham, she previously said: "I watched Green Street hooligans when I was young and ever since then I've loved West Ham.

"I haven't been to any games, that was actually my first time ever in England when I was there.

"I could see the stadium from where I was at the top of the tower, it looked a little far away.

"I would love to (attend a game), I actually plan on going back to do a food tour there. And I'm going to make it line up with a match that I can go and see."
