The Premier League's official website has listed Cristiano Ronaldo as having the No.7 shirt following his sensational return to Manchester United – but there's a problem.
United's No.7 shirt has been claimed – by Edinson Cavani.
Ronaldo is inextricably linked with the famous digit after his first spell at Old Trafford between 2003 and 2009.
He has since worn the number at both Real Madrid and Juventus and 'CR7' has been transformed into a global brand.
It remains to be seen whether Ronaldo will be reunited with the No.7 shirt during his second spell with United – even if the Premier League have published it on their own website.
United announced Ronaldo's return on Friday night and confirmed the deal in a statement on Tuesday morning.
Interestingly, the 36-year-old's official squad number has yet to be announced.
It is unlikely the Premier League will allow Ronaldo and Cavani to both wear No.7, which means a compromise will likely have to be sought.
One solution could see Ronaldo adopt the No.28 instead.
Do you think Ronaldo should be given the No.7 shirt? Let us know in the comments section.
He wanted those digits in 2003 when he first joined the club but was convinced by Sir Alex Ferguson to take the iconic No.7 jersey.
Another possible scenario could see the former Juve man wear two shirt numbers this season.
Although he may have to switch from the No.7 in the Premier League, he could claim the jersey in the Champions League as squad numbers have yet to be submitted.

United legend Rio Ferdinand seems to think Cavani will make way for Ronaldo and allow him to be reunited with that shirt number.
"Just to think Cavani could be the back-up for Ronaldo, it’s unbelievable," Ferdinand said on his FIVE YouTube show as he reacted to United’s announcement last Friday.
"Cavani, I have to say, what a man! He saw who was coming to town and gave up the No.7 shirt."
Ronaldo spoke for the first time about his return to Old Trafford in a statement on the club's website on Tuesday morning.
He said: "Manchester United is a club that has always had a special place in my heart, and I have been overwhelmed by all the messages
"I have received since the announcement on Friday. I cannot wait to play at Old Trafford in front of a full stadium and see all the fans again.
"I'm looking forward to joining up with the team after the international games, and I hope we have a very successful season ahead."
