Problems Man Utd boss Solskjaer has with Pogba, Fernandes and Van de Beek

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly has individual issues with each of his star midfield trio.

Donny van de Beek signed for the Red Devils this summer and teamed up with Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes at Old Trafford.

Despite the wealth of talent at his disposal, Solskjaer has had a mixed start to the season, winning just two of five Premier League matches.

It was a different story in the Champions League with United surprising many by winning at last season’s runners-up PSG in the opening group match.

Fernandes was the only one of the trio to start that game with Van de Beek yet to be named in the starting line-up for a Premier League game.

Solskjaer insists the Dutchman will get his chances at United, though there certainly appears to be a problem for now.

Fernandes has impressed since heading to Old Trafford in January though there were recent reports of a bust-up between the Portuguese star and Solskjaer.

Fernandes denied those rumours, saying: "There's been a lot of speculation about that.

"First it was a discussion with team-mates, as it did not stick, it was a discussion with only one team-mate [Victor Lindelof], as it did not stick now, it is the discussion with Solskjaer.

"I believe it is a way to destabilise the group. What was said is in no way true.”

Despite the denial, there are suggestions that the relationship between Solskjaer and Fernandes is not what it was.

And the boss has also reportedly upset Pogba, who has not started for United since before the international break.
