Former Chelsea transfer target Jan Oblak has emerged as a potential option for Paris St Germain.
The ambitious Atletico Madrid goalkeeper saw a prospective move to Chelsea flounder earlier this year as Atletico refused to negotiate over his £109million buy-out clause.
Chelsea moved on to sign Edouard Mendy from Rennes though they maintain a watching brief on Slovenia international Oblak in case Kepa Arrizabalaga finds a new club in the new year.

Oblak, 27, has decided he wishes to take on a new challenge as he wants to win more trophies.
Atletico are well placed at the top of La Liga and are reluctant to sell in January but could be open to discussions for the summer as they count the cost of the coronavirus on their finances.
PSG have 34-year-old Keylor Navas as their current number one and are constantly evaluating their stellar squad as they strive to become European champions.
Early soundings have been made over Oblak’s situation through intermediaries while they are also assessing the potential signing of Lionel Messi from Barcelona.

Much could hinge on the decision taken by Kylian Mbappe who is considering his next step. Should he leave, PSG will want equally big names to compensate for his departure.
Oblak is regarded as the best goalkeeper in the world while Messi’s wages are problematic for Barcelona.
Manchester City also have an ongoing interest in Messi’s situation but have not rekindled talks at this stage with their focus on younger options for their attack.
