Jose Mourinho claimed victory in his first match as Roma boss on Sunday night – and he couldn't resist a classic s***house moment at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Special One got off to a flyer on his Roma debut against Fiorentina, recording a 3-1 win over their Serie A rivals thanks to Jordan Veretout's brace and a Henrikh Mkhitaryan strike.

New £34million recruit Tammy Abraham also registered two assists on his own debut for the club, while both teams each had a man sent off.

However, one of the best moments of the game came when Mourinho hilariously trolled Fiorentina ace Nicolas Gonzalez in the first half.

With his side leading 1-0 after 32 minutes, the ball rolled towards Roma's new manager as he stood in his technical area and Gonzalez ran towards him.

But instead of stopping the ball and handing it to the Argentine, Mourinho opened his legs and let it run even further out of player in a light-hearted attempt to waste time.

Gonzalez took the wind-up well, laughing at the Portuguese as he scooped up the ball and ran back onto the field.

Fans absolutely loved Mourinho's trolling on his Roma bow, taking to Twitter to wax lyrical about his antics against Fiorentina.

One put: "EPL [Premier League] really lost this Mourinho charm……."

Another said: "hahahahhahaha he is back at it…"

A third simply wrote: "my manager".

While a fourth commented: "That’s exactly why I really like Jose".

Speaking after his opening win, Mourinho said: "When I arrive and see the new shirt I immediately become one of the fans.
