Antonio Rudiger is reportedly considering his future at the club and is open to leaving Stamford Bridge.
German defender Rudiger has excelled since Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard, handing him a lifeline in west London.
The 28-year-old was condemned to bench warming under Lampard, but has arguably been Chelsea's best defender since Tuchel took over.
However, Rudiger is out of contract at the end of the season, and is currently considering his options.
Tuchel is said to be desperate to get the former VfB Stuttgart and Roma man to sign a new deal.
But transfer expert Dean Jones claims that Rudiger is open to listening to offers from other clubs, who have opened discussions over a possible move.
Jones told LiveScore: “Tuchel has been so impressed with him, not only does he want him to stay, but he wants the club to prioritise the negotiations around it.
“He can’t really imagine his team right now without Rudiger to build upon.
“There are a couple of clubs that are looking at Rudiger’s situation and have opened discussions privately between intermediaries to let him know what would be on the table.

“And he’s reasonably open to considering a future away from Chelsea.”
Rudiger can sign a pre-contract with foreign clubs in January, so the window for Chelsea to pin him guarantee his future is edging closer.
Tuchel is still believed to be looking to bring in another defender in January, having missed out on landing Jules Kounde on deadline day.

The Frenchman could still be in line for a switch to the Premier League though, and there is a possibility the transfer saga will spark back into life, as per the Evening Standard.
Tuchel is already a centre-back light after allowing Kurt Zouma to leave and join West Ham for a fee in the region of £30m.
And come the end of the season he could well lose another option in the position as the contract of Thiago Silva, 36, will expire.
