France's squad has been struck with illness just hours before their World Cup semi-final clash.
Didier Deschamp's side are gearing up to face Morroco at the Al Bayt Stadium on Wednesday evening. But the reigning Champions' preparation for the crunch game have been thrown into chaos due to a bug that's rupturing through the side.
So far, Dayot Upamecano and Adrien Rabiot are the only two players in the French squad that have fallen victim to the illness, according to The Sun.

Les Bleus defender Upamecano is suffering from a sore throat, and missed training on Monday, after his starring role in Harry Kane's penalty controversy as England crashed out of the tournament at the hands of their European rivals.
The Three Lions were adamant they should've been awarded a penalty when Upamecano brought Kane down as he steamed into the box, but the referee and VAR thought otherwise.

Upamecano's compatriot Rabiot also isn't feeling too good, but his symptoms haven't yet been revealed. And incase they don't recover in time, Deschamps is preparing to call upon Liverpool ace Ibrahima Konate and Youssef Fofana to plug the gaps in his side, it was added.
A slew of other options including William Saliba, Matteo Guendouzi, Eduardo Camavinga, and Jordan Veretout may also be thrown into action by the France boss, the report continued. France's chaotic preparations give Morocco a huge boost going into the match as the North African nation hunt for their third major scalp in the tournament after they disposed of Spain and Portugal consecutively.
The reigning Champions' woes also play into the theory of fans who think Morocco lifting the World Cup could be written in the stars due to a Chelsea statistic. Every Blues player since 2010 that has worn the same number of the year the World Cup was held have won the tournament with their respective nations.
And this has led supporters to think Morroco ace Hakim Ziyech is next in line to do so as he wears No22 for the West London outfit, whilst starring for the Atlas Lions in their heroic 2022 World Cup campaign.
