Fans were quick to take to social media to comment on the situation. Some suggested it was Kante’s ‘humble nature’ that prevented him from celebrating, while others remained concerned over his future at the club.
One support said: ‘Kante will always be Kante.’ While another added: ‘Kante is just a shy guy’.
However, some supporters warned: ‘Kante is quiet but don’t take him for granted, benched him and he would push for the exit door from Chelsea.
‘He knows how to exit, he did it easily at Leicester. So I advice Tuchel to start using him we lose him.’
