Tottenham chiefs Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici are reportedly at odds on the future of star Dele Alli. Despite an impressive performance in the draw with Liverpool, Dele appears likely to be moved on in the January transfer window after being shunned by a succession of managers in recent years.
The Englishman started the campaign as a regular in Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad but lost his place after a disastrous display in the North London Derby defeat to Arsenal.
Since being hauled off at half-time of that game, he has made just three appearances in the Premier League, with two of those coming from the bench.
Antonio Conte had seemingly followed in the footsteps of Nuno and Jose Mourinho by sidelining the midfielder.
Though he was recalled to the starting line-up for the visit of Liverpool on Sunday, it still appears that Dele’s future lies away from Tottenham.
His contract runs until the summer of 2024, but with the transfer window opening in under two weeks’ time an exit could come sooner rather than later.

Which club he will join is still up in the air, with Eurosport reporting that the 25-year-old’s representatives are beginning to assess his options.
One thing that is for sure though is that Spurs will not stand in the way of a departure, with Dele described as being ‘available for transfer’.
Two clubs who are understood to be interested in the midfielder are Newcastle United and West Ham.
The Magpies desperately require new recruits to aid their Premier League survival battle, though the type of bid they would submit is as yet unknown.

Eddie Howe’s side are second bottom of the Premier League, with the Toon hoping to make a splash in the transfer market thanks to their mega-rich status.
But they face competition from the Hammers if they are to make a move for the former England international.
West Ham are said to be ‘watching the situation’, but a move for Jesse Lingard is being prioritised for the London Stadium side.
If either side want to sign Dele though, they will need to convince Spurs chairman Levy to change his mind.
Eurosport claim that Levy is thought to prefer moving him onto a club from a different country, rather than a Premier League rival.
The Bundesliga is said to be seen as the best place for Dele to finally get his career back on track, with hope that a move to Germany will open up.
Levy’s desire for Dele to move overseas is likely to put him in conflict with Paratici, who will likely attempt to either loan out or sell the 25-year-old quickly.
Following his performance against Liverpool, Dele could of course find a place in Conte’s plans, though that appears highly unlikely.
