Invincible Caviar could have the chance to emulate her famous mum Black Caviar at Flemington on Saturday.
Black Caviar notched the first of her 25 straight wins in a race down the Flemington straight course in April 2009. Invincible Caviar is entered for an 1100m race on the ‘Straight Six’ track at headquarters.
Invincible Caviar is among the 26 entries for the two-year-old fillies‘ race, which carries $125,000 in prizemoney.
The daughter of top stallion I Am Invincible Caviar would be Black Caviar‘s fourth foal to race when she makes her debut.
Black Caviar‘s first two foals, Oscietra and Prince Of Caviar, won modest provincial races in their short careers while the third, Ready For Caviar, is a maiden after two starts.
Invincible Caviar showed promise when winning a jumpout at Pakenham last Tuesday.
Trainer Peter Moody, who also trained Black Caviar, said Invincible Caviar had shown enough talent to win a race at metropolitan level.
“She’s at a stage now where you can confidently say she’s not no good,” Moody said after Invincible Caviar‘s Pakenham jumpout.
